Pool news from around the web at the moment has been talking about an up-and-coming launch of a site called Pool Stars which is being promoted by Steve Davis the six times world snooker champion. Their tag line looks to be "Tradition goes Digital" and they are promoting pre-regisration at the moment.
PoolStars plans on receiving compensation for hosting pool games between players by collecting a small rake. Pool Stars says they will give online pool players a $25 bonus into their account if they pre-register for their software before launch. I'll keep an eye out to see what if this is also available as a free play online pool game. If it is just an option to play pool for cash then we will let everyone know as soon as it launched for real. Their site looks good so hopefully the pool game itself can live up to the hype they are already creating. |
