This is a little off topic from the usual online pool games which we find out on the internet but thought it was in interesting site so worth a look at.

Some games like bingo are considered soft games as well although they are also gambling games.

A game like online pool is considered a "skill game" and therefore in a slightly different category of online games. A skill game is any game where the outcome is completely decided by the skill level of the player, that is there is no element of change (e.g. the rolling of a dice or a random playing card) which would affect the outcome of the game.

The big question out there at the moment is whether or not poker is really a skill game or gambling. It's a good question!
